Proximus Fund
Proposed by seven students and former students in 2021, the Proximus Fund helps current students with difficulties or unforeseen struggles such as the deaths of family members, severe illnesses, financial setbacks, and other hard situations. The Latin word “proximus” means “neighbor;” this fund answers the Savior’s call (Luke 10) to love and care for those around us.

Achievement Fellowships
The Achievement Fellows are individuals who qualify for law school despite having overcome a wide variety of personal or environmental hurdles in order to attend, including poverty, discrimination, homelessness, physical or mental health challenges, limited access to educational resources, and many others.

Student Experiential Learning
Some of life’s most important lessons are best learned through hands-on experience. Donations to this fund directly benefit students for uses including research-related student stipends, learning academies, and travel for externships, service opportunities, leadership development, and competitions.
Global Leadership Development (LLM)
This fund supports international LLM (Master of Laws) students from around the world. The LLM program is designed for non-U.S. lawyers who intend to obtain the two-semester degree to enhance their professional and leadership opportunities in their home countries.

Annual Fund
Donations to the Annual Fund are a “no-strings-attached” investment in the Law School’s future success. Using this discretionary account, the Dean of the Law School can direct funds to the areas of the greatest need, initiate projects to enhance the Law School, and move quickly to take advantage of special opportunities.
