JAC receives Communicator Awards
for standing out from the herd
We have to admit, when we first found out we had received several Communicator Awards, we thought the world had finally recognized us for our impressive ability to not only speak English, Arabic, a bit of French, some Korean, and even a smidgeon of Japanese, but also several types of whale. Soon after, we realized our mistake.
As it stands, it seems the International Academy of Visual Arts, comprised of executives from organizations such as Big Spaceship, Disney, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Estee Lauder, MTV Networks, Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Time, Inc, Wired, and Yahoo!, has awarded us for our ability to design and develop websites instead.
To be more specific, which is the true skill of any great communicator, we won silver for our work with Iceberg Quest, Special Olympics Canada, and the St. John’s IceCaps. All three were recognized as being innovative and exceeding industry standards in quality in order to make a lasting impact.
Now, with a few more awards on our shelves, it seems we may be able to take a few moments to work on a couple side projects. Sadly, at least one of our plans involving communication has already been figured out by someone else in the tech herd.
Luckily, we have plenty more tricks up our sleeve, and we’re sharper dressers!
